What does community mean to you?
New and experienced gardeners from all backgrounds
bonding over our curious love of plants and passionate
gardener spirits, creating a connected balance with our health, or soil, our lives.
Nourishing ourselves, our families, and our neighbors in a beautiful space--
thank you so much for being with us in the Golden Community Garden!
Our goal through the community garden is to enable members of Golden's community to work together
to organically grow fruits, vegetables and flowers for our families and our community.
The garden is also a healthy, green space where all of Golden's residents and visitors
can enjoy nature's beauty and engage in meaningful conversation.
Location - 1506 8th St. Golden CO
You can reach the garden from the west end of either 8th or 10th streets in Golden. There's a fence around the entire site, but we have pedestrian gates at both the 8th & 10th street entrances.
From 8th Street - West on 8th, to just east of the Briarwood restaurant parking, where you'll see a drive going down from 8th to the south. Please park up on the street and walk down the drive.
From 10th Street - West on 10th to the Golden Community Center. Turn left from 10th into the Community Center overflow parking, go to the far corner, where you'll see a garden sign, and pedestrian gate. You can park by the gate and walk up the hill to the garden.
We accept money and in kind donations such as tools, soil, seeds, etc.
If you want to donate money, please donate online, or via check payable to Denver Urban Gardens, our fiscal agent.
(For both, please add a note or comment that it's for the Golden Community Garden so it goes into our account. Thank you!)
